And at this point as struggling everyday with all kinds of stupid OEM software problems with this device, I don't even care much as the dedicated graphics do the job and I'll just try to live with it until after maybe weeks or months Lenovo drops another russian roulette style update which might fix the brightness issue but break two other things along with it. I can't even restore my system to roll back older driver because it gives me a Microsoft OneDrive error and I haven't found an answer how to deal with it. I'm on the same boat with you, my brightness adjustment is disabled also and I use the dedicated graphics and lose 2 hours of battery life with it. Other than that unfortunately I don't know a better solution this time.

Or you can do a clean Windows install and wipe everything and start all over and make sure you don't install the latest Intel graphic driver (26.20.100.7529) I also recommend to turn off the Lenovo Vantage auto updates so it does not auto update the broken driver as happened to me when I had the Vantage running on the backround. That way you roll back to the older working driver. If you updated the driver yourself or with Vantage so it overwrited the previous driver, you can restore your system to a point before the Intel graphic driver update (26.20.100.7529) if you have a restore point available.
